Long dive through tunnel for inspection AUV

An autonomous underwater vehicle (AUV) manufactured by Atlas Elektronik ‘dived’ through a water supply tunnel 24km long in a seven hour inspection, the first in 40 years.

The AUV is retrieved after its seven hour mission in the tunnel.
