SAR vessels boom
Baltic Workboats (BWB) has a wide variety of SAR (search and rescue) vessels under construction and scheduled for deliveries within the last quarter of 2021 and the beginning of 2022.
Four SAR vessels ranging from 16m – 24m are currently in different stages of production with Patrol 16 WP SAR and Patrol 21 WP SAR in the sea trials phase and scheduled for delivery within October and November, respectively.
These new SAR vessel models will further increase the BWB SAR vessels diverse portfolio. Patrol 19 WP SAR and Patrol 24 WP SAR are based on existing SAR vessel models and demonstrate the high trust towards BWB SAR vessels’ design and quality solutions.
Patrol 16 WP SAR
The 16m multifunctional Patrol 16 WP SAR model is the newest addition to Baltic Workboats’ SAR vessels portfolio. It is based on a well-proven Patrol 16 WP hull design with a wave-piercing bow which enables crew to react to incidents instantly, even the most challenging weather conditions.
Patrol 16 WP SAR features include a hydraulic MOB platform on a spacious 10 m2 aft deck built for SAR operations and airlifting, MOB davits with rescue nets on both sides of the wheelhouse and external FiFi with two remotely controlled monitors. It can also tow stricken vessels.
