Poseidon Lands Major African Training Order
Norways Poseidon Simulation AS has won the biggest single order for marine simulators and training in the companys 14 year history. The NoKr15m order consists of simulators for radio communication, Radar/ ARPA navigation, bridge simulators and a PC-based engine room simulator.
Instructors from Nigeria will be trained at Poseidon’s own training centres in Lofoten and Tromso as well as a training centre in Rostock, Germany with whom Poseidon has established co-operation.
Implementation of this order will result in an internationally approved marine training centre in Nigeria.
Poseidon Simulation AS was chosen by the Nigerian authorities due to its successful implementation of training facilities in other countries, most notably the Philippines.
