Positioning & Surveying Courses
University of Nottinghams Institute of Engineering Surveying & Space Geodesy (IESSG) says it has funding available to support UK and EU students on MSc courses in satellite positioning and navigation technology as well as geodetic surveying.
A full high specification analogue geophysical and digital seismic package has been installed, and the vessel is booked first by Gardline clients Floyd and Associates Ltd before moving on to a programme for Shell Exploration and Production in Europe. The scope of works will initially involve hazard site survey operations and will be managed by Gardline’s geophysical specialist survey company Gardline Geosurvey.
Funding will cover part of tuition fees and for a limited number of applicants on the satellite positioning course, it may cover full fees and a stipend of £6,000 per annum.
