Eidesvik Offshore expands fleet with new CSV
Eidesvik Offshore has announced the vessel build of a new Construction Support Vessel (CSV) which aims to enhance operational efficiency and address the increasing demand for vessels in the offshore renewables and subsea markets.
The state-of-the-art CSV will be constructed at the Sefine Shipyard in Turkey through a strategic partnership between Eidesvik, Agalas and Reach Subsea.

“This vessel is designed to meet the demands of both the oil & gas sector and the offshore renewables industry, allowing us to capitalize on market opportunities in both these sectors.”
Cutting-edge
Equipped with cutting-edge green technology, the vessel will feature a battery hybrid system and dual-fuel gensets capable of running on methanol or marine gas oil (MGO).
It will also include a 150-metric tonne heave-compensated crane, a spacious 900-square-metre deck area and an advanced remotely operated vehicle (ROV) launch and recovery system.
The CSV is set for delivery in spring 2027 at which time the vessel will enter a five-year time charter with Reach Subsea upon delivery, with options for two one-year extensions.
Eidesvik will provide full management of the vessel, including crewing. Ownership will be split between Eidesvik and Agalas (two-thirds) and Reach Subsea (one-third), continuing their strong existing collaboration.
