Deep Green for Holyhead Deep
Natural Resources Wales has given consent is for a 0.5 MW Deep Green tidal generating device to be installed in the southern corner of the Holyhead Deep in the UK’s Irish Sea. This will be the first time that the Swedish Deep Green underwater kite technology will be tested on a full size unit at sea and it is planned that this trial unit will demonstrate and prove the technology ahead of plans for installing a 10 MW array at the site. 27 Apr 2017 - Maritime Journal
