Alphatron launches new products at Europort
The Rotterdam based Alphatron Marine Group, based in Rotterdam will use Europort to introduce a series of new and innovative products.
First of all, Alphatron Marine will introduce a full new instrument line which will use the latest TFT technology. Available as standalone indicators or repeater units, they will indicate speed, course, depth and position as well as a new TMC magnetic heading repeater.
Also on show is the fibre optic gyro compass, AlphaFibreCourse, equipped with the latest available fibre optic technology. The first units fully operational on the new generation of pilot tenders for the Dutch Pilot Association with extremely good results. Besides heading, the unit also outputs roll and pitch and is suitable for the connection of 12 serial repeaters.
The AlphaBridge Premium is a full, large screen multifunctional bridge MFD information system presenting radar, ECDIS, conning and AMS (Alarm & Monitoring) on razor-sharp TFT screens. Alphatron Marine and JRC (Japan Radio Company Ltd) have been closely cooperating in the development of the system. The AlphaBridge Premium can be controlled through the unique AlphaController, which is basically an intuitive, intelligent rotary knob, derived from the automotive industry.
