Danish company EIVA has expanded its network of offshore specialists by joining forces with Brazilian underwater technology expert MACSEA.
The marine survey hardware and software specialist has signed a representative agreement with MACSEA, bolstering the Brazilian company’s product portfolio.
Interest in the solutions offered by the company has grown as a result of a large number of ongoing and planned offshore activities in Brazil. This move will see EIVA strengthen its presence in the region in response.
Jakob Møller Nielsen, sales director for EIVA, said: “We have been searching the Brazilian offshore industry for an additional representative for a while. MACSEA services follow EIVA’s philosophy of assisting customers throughout the life cycle of a product or project.”
MACSEA, based in Rio de Janeiro, specialises in providing technical services and products for the offshore oil and gas, energy and oceanography industries and its experts have typically 15 years of experience. The company also offers project and asset management.
Antonio Felipe Silva, commercial manager for MACSEA added: “We are very enthusiastic about this partnership and confident that it will strengthen our company, as we see great potential in offering EIVA solutions to our local market.”
