Expanded Lilley & Gillie at SMM
Tyneside based manufacturers of navigational instruments and nautical equipment Lilley & Gillie attend SMM 2004 at the end of a two year period during which the company has expanded dramatically.
Acquisitions include Thomas Walker & Son Ltd of Birmingham, incorporating the Walker Marine, Chernikeef and Neco brand names and, more recently, has acquired 50 % of software and electronic charts developer and supplier PC Maritime. PC maritime has been actively involved in UKHO developments, especially in the latest ECDIS service trials.
Since Lilley & Gillie acquired Walker Marine in 2002 it has actively been developing advanced navigational instruments and nautical equipment, launching a new range of Wind Speed & Direction Sensors.
