SES communicates successfully at Seawork

This year’s Seawork International proved to be a very busy and successful show for Ships Electronic Services Ltd (SES), a market leader in maritime communication and navigation electronics.

Dan Muchmore from Clear-Com and Simon Woods from SES shared in a very successful Seawork for both companies.

Having recently been appointed as the sole UK and offshore maritime distributor for Clear-Com, a global leader in critical voice communication systems, the exhibition was the perfect opportunity to showcase a range of the Clear-Com products as well as other equipment from SES’s extensive range of marine electronics.

Clear-Com is already well established in other commercial markets but SES will focus solely on the commercial shipping sector as well as the growing oil and gas market. Seawork gave both companies the chance to meet with a number of potential and current clients to highlight the new partnership.

Supporting Simon Wood, director of Ships Electronic Services, at the stand during Seawork was Dan Muchmore, Clear-Com’s regional sales manager for the UK and Ireland, who was on hand to answer any technical questions regarding the product range. Products displayed at the exhibition included FreeSpeak and Tempest wireless systems as well as the Clear-Com Encore Partyline and Eclipse digital matrix systems.

Commenting on the show, Simon said, “This year’s Seawork was busier than expected and we were delighted by the turnout at the SES stand. The array of products that we exhibited was really well received, in particular the Clear-Com range that we were launching to the marine industry for the first time. We secured a number of orders for their communications systems and got to meet many potential clients. The whole show was hugely beneficial to us and we look forward to attending again next year.’
