Try a Palfinger out at SMM
Guests to the Palfinger Marine stand at this year’s SMM show in Hamburg will be able test their crane operating skills on the spot.
The idea is to control the virtual crane using an interactive original Palfinger remote control unit – giving prospective customers the opportunity to see for themselves how easy it is to operate these marine cranes (and they may even win one of the daily prizes).
Beyond this, the company is working steadily on development of its product range and so it will be presenting innovations and functional enhancements including such things as a new knuckle-boom system for its articulated units and maintenance-free sliding elements – which, says Palfinger, gives “greater operator-friendliness, more profitable use and long-term functionality”.
Palfinger Marine also adds that flexibility is one of its strengths. For example, the PK 150002M with its dual-winch solution was designed to meet individual requirements and tailored to specific customer needs.
