Axel Johnson acquires LGS

Axel Johnson International is a global industrial group that acquires and develops companies in niche markets, primarily technical components and industrial process solutions.

This acquisition will help grow the LGS business, particularly in the rental market, says Stephen Merchant, business support manager at LGS.

“The decision to join the Axel Johnson International group not only strengthens our position within the UK market but gives us great confidence in growing our rental services in the year ahead,” he said.

“In particular, we are confident that this acquisition will enable us to develop LGS Marine, providing a great platform to source new suppliers and identify alternative routes to market.”
