NSSLGlobal powers safety at sea

The cutting-edge Iridium LT-3100S GMDSS system, will deliver SOLAS compliant satellite-enabled marine communications, real-time distress alerts and maritime safety information to the Ocean Youth Trust North’s yacht James Cook.

Enhanced safety

This technology will significantly enhance marine navigation and crew safety onboard the 21-metre training yacht as it crosses the North Sea.

The GMDSS system is designed to deliver immediate emergency response capabilities, even in the most remote waters. Its inclusion ensures constant connectivity, supporting safe operations and providing peace of mind for both crew and guardians.

This latest delivery reflects NSSLGlobal’s longstanding commitment to maritime safety and its prominent position in the global marine communications market.

The company celebrated its 55th anniversary in the marine sector last year and it supports a wide range of defence and commercial clients, including the UK Ministry of Defence, German Armed Forces, MOL and Teekay.
