Expansion into the shipping market

Leading employment law specialist Brahams Dutt Badrick French LLP (BDBF) has appointed a senior employment lawyer with expertise in the insurance and shipping industries in order to expand its portfolio of clients in the sector.

Nick Wilcox will lead the firm’s charge in expanding the work it does for senior executives and companies across the areas of insurance, shipping and trade.

A former employee of Ince & Co LLP, a Top 50 firm, and a trainee of Clyde & Co LLP, Nick has over seven years’ experience in High Court proceedings relating to directors’ duties, shareholder disputes, team moves and misuse of confidential information. He is highly experienced in a wide range of HR advisory issues and in the UK Bribery Act.

Nick also brings to BDBF an expertise in maritime labour law, being one of very few specialists in the Maritime Labour Convention – a landmark international convention which came into force in August 2013.
