New owner for maritime employment agency
AMP, the recruitment, selection and temporary employment agency for maritime personnel based in Den Helder, the Netherlands, has been taken over by Hylke and Jan Zetzema from Marken.
Allseas Maritime Personnel (AMP) was established in 1985, and since 2000 has been owned by Sjef van Raamsdonk of Ravanta BV. The takeover will have no consequences for the employment situation at the company.
The new owners of the business are father Hylke Zetzema and his son Jan Zetzema, who together will form the new board of directors of AMP. Hylke will be responsible for financial matters, while Jan, as managing director and crew manager, will be the new frontman for AMP. He has built up years of experience in the maritime sector with various operators including Wagenborg, Norfolk Line and Fairmount Marine. Father and son have also been in charge of their own towing service for several years.
