Offshore wind service partner
Moventas has been chosen as one of the selected suppliers for wind turbine gearbox repairs and supply in Europe by Iberdrola, a leading clean energy utility.
The deal includes multi-brand gearboxes in kW and MW class for the next three years.

Moventas’ ability to address gearbox failures has now been recognised by one of the biggest utility in the world,” said Pedro Figueiras, senior vice president, Momentas.
With this new tender, Iberdrola is recognising another certified service partner for its wind turbine fleet in Europe.
The contract is not exclusive but will give Moventas an opportunity to win great volumes with the opportunity to demonstrate high quality service to a large offshore wind player.
Iberdrola’s considerable fleet consists of multiple turbine types, which can be challenging for O&M strategies. because Moventas is a multi-brand partner, it can flexibly service many types of gearboxes helping to enable quick and reliable turnaround times.
