The project to produce the world’s first, purpose built training tug took a quantum leap forward in May with the completion of the first prototype and a signed contract to build two vessels with ‘Green’ propulsion systems. Both events were timed to coincide with the ITS 2010 Tug & Salvage Convention in Vancouver.
