Propulsionspecialist Schottle GmbH& Co. KG has been reorganized, with a new corporate structure to meet theincreasing demands of shipbuilding worldwide. With effect from 29 June 2007,Schottels headquarters in Spay/Rhine and Schottel Antriebstechnik GmbH inWismar have been merged to form the new Schottel GmbH, with its registeredoffice in Spay and branches in Wismar and Hamburg. Schottel SchiffsmaschinenGmbH, also based at Wismar, will continue to develop and manufacture reliable,high efficiency controllable pitch propeller systems as an independentcompany.
