Battery innovation aims to electrify subsea operations
The battery manufacturer Volklec is driving vessel electrification forward with offshore technology innovator, Walker Subsea, to deliver a next-generation underwater power system for subsea offshore operations.
This multimillion-pound collaboration will see the creation of D-SEA, a revolutionary subsea battery pack powered by Volklec’s advanced 21700-5000mAh energy cells.
