The 27th edition of Europe’s largest commercial marine and workboat exhibition provides businesses the opportunity to showcase their services, equipment, vessels and supplies to an international audience. Chartwell wins hybrid fast ferry design
Chartwell Marine has secured a further vessel build contract to design a bespoke hybrid ferry providing an essential lifeline service for a rural island community.
The Southampton-based designer has been appointed to deliver the Fair Isle ferry project, with construction scheduled to begin in early 2026 and the vessel expected to enter service in 2027.
