French institute agrees €8 million to research offshore wind

A partly government-funded body has laid out four ’research and innovation’ projects it will fund to look at various areas of offshore wind.

Areas under the spotlight include collision risks to birds and ’chronic emissions of chemical elements from offshore wind turbines in sediments and certain marine organisms’.
