Jifmar Group and Seavium have formed a strategic partnership to advance vessel digitalisation and AI driven data capabilities across more than 80 vessels

The agreement formalises deployment of advanced digital tools and vessel monitoring systems throughout Jifmar’s fleet and internal workflows, strengthening operational transparency, structured data management and project delivery performance.

“This partnership with Jifmar marks a clear shift in the offshore industry. Digitalisation is no longer optional: AI and structured data are redefining how chartering and operations must be run,” said Adrien Barrau, CEO of Seavium.

“Jifmar is moving early and decisively and we’re entering this new competitive era together. We’re ready to scale our impact across EMEA.”

Data-driven accountability

Facilitated by ZEBOX, the collaboration aligns with rising client expectations for data-driven accountability and faster commercial responsiveness in offshore and marine services.

Under the initiative, Jifmar vessels are being integrated into a unified digital ecosystem designed to optimise fleet visibility and standardise technical information.

The vessel digitalisation programme enhances vessel monitoring, enabling more accurate preparation and assessment of complex offshore projects while supporting faster decision-making.

AI driven data analytics will underpin AI-assisted chartering and vessel-project matching, improving asset suitability analysis across global opportunities.

The partnership will also embed AI into internal processes, targeting measurable efficiency gains and workflow automation across departments.

By combining operational expertise with advanced digital capability, Jifmar and Seavium said they are positioning the fleet for long-term resilience, signalling how leading offshore operators are embracing vessel digitalisation and AI driven data as core strategic assets.

Back in September 2025, Jifmar further expanded into the sector when Dutch tug owner Seacontractors sold its smaller vessels to Jifmar. The operator has steadily grown its presence in the workboat sector since inception 20 years ago.
