WATCH: €500 million works to transform ‘Gateway to the Mediterranean’

 One of Europe’s historic maritime gateways is being transformed to accommodate larger vessels and growing cargo volumes.

The Italian Port of Livorno will benefit from almost €473 million spending to expand its quays by 3km, build two new container terminals and dredge rthe seabed to about 20 metres.
